1 year Pictures

We recently went down to Fotofly in Draper and got Addy's 1 year pictures taken. She was such a champ this time around and we got so many great pictures of her. Her photographer that she had was amazing as well and knew every way to get Addy to smile. I can't believe the difference between this:
And her pictures that were just taken. Where did my little baby go!?!?!? I have loved every minute of this past year raising her and I look forward to all the many years ahead.  Well anyway here are the shots that they got. :)

1 Year!

Oh my heavens! I can't believe that my little girl is one year old! The time has flown by! We had a birthday party for her the day after he birthday on Saturday since that was more convenient for everyone else. She absolutely loved it because everyone was there just for HER! She is such a performer too so any time anyone gives her any sort of attention she takes full advantage of it. This is an example of her performing for everyone.

All the family came and it was very fun for her. She had so much fun opening her presents and getting all sorts of clothes, but she was most intrigued with the new toys that she got.

She's giving her piggy kisses. It was so cute. My grandparents gave this to her and they loved to see her doing this. She definitely knows how to please he audience. :)

When it was time to sing happy birthday to her she didn't know really what was going on until everyone was surrounding her. When she figured it out she of course took full advantage of it. :)
You can see her in the background of this kinda confused as to what was going on, but that didn't take her long to figure out.

As you can see she loved her cake. I have to admit it was pretty good. I was pretty proud of myself since this was the first ever cake that I have made let alone a fondant one. I've made the traditional sheet cakes, but nothing stacked like this. So I was glad that it turned out well and that everyone else liked it. Including the Bug. :)

It was funny because my brother celebrated his birthday on the 29th of January and when we were singing happy birthday to him Addy thought we were singing to her again. She is such a little pill! We love her though and I am so glad that I have such a smart and amazing child. She is learning new things so quickly and is growing so fast.
That Monday after her birthday we had her 1 year check up with her doctor. The doc was so amazed at how fast she is hitting her milestones and skipped from asking 12 month question to asking the 15 month ones and she had already almost hit all of those milestones as well. I love that my little girl is so smart (at times). :)

10 Months

I can't believe how fast time has gone! It seems like it was just yesterday that I was in the hospital with her when she was this size!
Where did My baby go!!?!?

I have had the best 10 months of my life, and I wouldn't take back any of it for anything. I love my little girl so much. I wish that she would have stayed little for a tad longer. She now climbs on everything and will stand up on her own. She hasn't quite grasped the concept that she can take a lot of steps on her own even though when we don't hold onto her she can walk just fine. She still prefers to crawl I guess. :)
She decided that she wanted to help mom do dishes and crawled up into the dishwasher. Giving me this look because she knew that she wasn't supposed to be up in there. I love that my baby is so mobile (at times). She has the cutest personality.
Some recent happenings:
For Halloween we went to both grandparents houses so that Addy could show off her costume. She loved the trick or treaters and every time the doorbell would ring she would light right up and crawl to the door if nobody was holding her, or flap her arms like a little bird ( that's what she does when she wants something).
Her new thing when Kloee rides in the car with us is she has to ride in Addy's carseat with her. Look how excited she is!
The week before Halloween we went with Brock's little sister and her two boys to Garner Historical Village and took Halloween pictures. We had so much fun, and everyone loved the kid's costumes.
I am a little bias and thing that Addy was by far the cutest ladybug for Halloween even though it was a popular costume this year for baby girls.
The last week of October we decided that we wanted to go for a hike to catch the last of the colorful leaves that were still on the trees. We got all dressed up nice and warm and headed up behind Weber State. It was beautiful and a perfect day too. Addy loved every minute of it if you couldn't tell from the picture. She is just like her mamma and loves being outside. We had so much fun and discovered so many trails that we had no idea were up there. We will have to plan better next year and take some more hikes. :)
She had so much fun and excitement that on the way back down from the hike she conked and wouldn't wake up for anything.
This was when we got home from hiking. We stopped and got some dinner and ice cream. As you can see Addy is giving her monster face because she just took a big bite of ice cream from dad and loved it.
We went up to my aunt's house for a party and girls day. It was cold outside which was great for me because a couple of weeks ago I found this cute little outfit at TJ Maxx and couldn't wait for her to wear it. It was so funny when I came walking out of her bedroom with her. She had this look on her face that said "look at me I am so pretty and I know it". We couldn't stop laughing at how she was acting. This picture kinda does justice to how her face was, but not all the way.

She is at such a great age right now and does some of the funniest things. Her thing that she likes to do lately is growl like a monster. We can even growl back at her and she will growl harder. It's the funniest thing.

I guess it's time to start thinking about her 1st birthday. This makes me sad, but happy at the same time.

9 MONTHS!

I can't believe how fast this time has gone. My little girl is 9 months old!!! She is hitting each and every milestone so fast and way ahead even the timeline that is set for babies. I know that each baby is different, and I am so proud of how smart she is and how she figures so many things out on her own, but a little part of me wants her to be one of the babies that is a little on the behind side so that I can experience each stage a little longer. Some of the little things that she is currently doing are:
