It's been a while since the last update... Things have been wonderful. I am loving every minute with my baby. She is changing and doing more things every day. a couple of weeks ago she started smiling and recognizing her mommy and daddy. I love when she wakes up and looks up at me and smiles. I love love love all of the little moments that are happening in her life and I'm glad that I get to be part of it. She has officially grown out of her first set of newborn clothing. Dad put her in this outfit today, and it doesn't fit so well anymore :(
She still fits into the newborn onesies, but the rest of the clothing doesn't fit so much anymore. She is starting to get rolls and fat everywhere which is the cutest thing in the world. Here are some little quirks about little Addy:
-Loves to sit in her swing and watch her "friends" twirl around on the mobile
-Hates to lie flat and has to be sitting up somewhat to fall asleep.
-Loves to be held
-Hates to be put down even if she has fallen asleep and is out cold she will wake up 90% of the time
-Loves to sleep in her Boppy
-Hates when mom eats dairy :(
-Loves to grunt. Her biggest grunts are when she is pooping. Yes very lady-like I know!
-Hates to be held sitting still. She needs to be rocked, bounced, or patted.
-Loves Boobies... TMI? well it's not hard to miss when you see her fattness forming everywhere on her :)
-Thinks it funny to straighten her legs out and not bend them for anything when mom or dad is trying to change her diaper and clean out all of her rolls.
-Loves playing in the bath
-Hates getting lotion put on her after the bath
ANNND she loves to smile at her momma...
There are so many things about her that makes me fall in love more and more with her every day. She has the cutest little sneezes and very dramatic coughs. It's for sure the cutest thing ever. Is it sad that I like to see her cough because it's so cute? Don't take it the wrong way if she was coughing because she was sick I would be devastated, but when it's a cough because she has a tickle in her throat it's very cute. Her little yawns are adorable, and I'm thinking it's because her cheeks are so squishy and big that it makes it that much cuter when she yawns. :)I sit and watch her sleep and think of what a miracle it is to have her in my life. The miracle that she started out as cells and now she is here holding my finger sucking on a binky breathing on her own.I marvel at the fact that she is so perfect. I love being a mom and wouldn't take it back for anything. I love waking up with her at 2 in the morning to feed her and it's just me and her. I love sitting and talking to her telling her about her new world and all of the many things that I am going to teach her. I love that when she is fussing while someone else is holding her and they give her back to me she stops crying because she knows that her mom has her now. She is my entire world. There were several people that told me that I will never know what it's like to love something so much until you have your own child. I now know exactly what they were talking about. I never in a million years thought that I would love this little person already in just 8 weeks. I thought that I would go insane being home all day long, but now that it has happened I wouldn't change it for the world. I love that I am able to get to know which cry means what and which grunt as well. She is getting so big so fast and although I am home and with her almost 24/7 it feels like these stages in her life are going way too fast. I feel like I don't have enough time to sit and actually enjoy them before they are already gone. I hope that it will slow down just a little for me.
